In leaving Rio de Janeiro take the “Linha Vermelha” and then take “avenida Washington Luis”, after a few miles on your right, is the entrance to Teresopólis, BR116, Following this road until “o Soberbo” in the top of the sierra. No need to enter in Térésopolis, however, “o Soberbo”, in the Organs' Sierra, deserves a pause to appreciate the view of Rio de Janeiro, the beauty of the National Park's forest and the majestic mountains framed by the “Dedo de Deus”(finger of god). Then follow the Rio-Bahia road till the entrance to Teresópolis-Friburgo, RJ130, on your right. 6.5 KM after that is the gas station Texaco Max-Mix, 200m after the gas station take to your right, where you'll start to see the signs of Gaura Mandir-Vrajabhumi along the road. From Rio de Janeiro to Gaura Mandir there's about a 2h trip.
