The Farm Hotel GUARA MANDIR was developed by the work of Sergio Leite Pereira Filho having followed the spiritual steps of his father SHATRU KOTIVINASANA DAS, who initiated the devotional service in the Vrajabhumi farm more than 30 years ago. In his unceasing search for knowledge Sergio went several times to India searching for a spiritual master, which is nowadays more and more difficult to find, even in oriental countries, full of mystics, gurus and ancient religions. Some years ago he met a guru Vaishnava SRILA BHAKTIVEDANTA NARAYANA MAHARAJA who has a deep knowledge of the millenarian sacred Holy Writs of India. NARAYANA MAHARAJA gave spiritual initiation to Sergio and his wife, he starting to use the name of SUBALSAKHA.

NARAYANA MAHARAJA has been in Brazil several times, having chosen Gaura Mandir in the sierras of Rio de Janeiro for his lectures and lessons. SUBALSAKHA searches deeper knowledge of India’s Holy Writs. He searches BHAKTI, the devotional service to the supreme personality of God, a platform of love and benevolence. The farm hotel Gaura Mandir, with its Lacto-vegetarian food, shows its visitors the first steps of the spiritual world. SRILA BHAKTIVEDANTA NARAYANA MAHARAJA with his sweetness, profound knowledge and his self realization allowed the development, in this place, of a feeling of harmony, of compassion , the search of spiritual growth and a way of life turned to the simplicity of being. Gaura Mandir is an ambient of peace and contemplation of a completely preserved nature, where meditation and the search of a higher spiritual platform are presented in the form of BHAKTI. A small library with jewels of Vaishnava’s literature, lectures, lessons and Hindu music, in Gaura Mandir are a way to self realization. We all thank SRILA BHAKTIVEDANTA NARAYANA MAHARAJA for his benevolence in leaving this seed in Gaura Mandir that germinates and is transformed in a solid tree every day. Together with SRILA BHAKTIVEDANTA NARAYANA MAHARAJA, Gaura Mandir is a spreading and interacting center for all those interested in the platform of the spontaneous love of KRSNA. Gaura Mandir are for those that search truth in their hearts and the rise of consciousness through the nectar of transcendental knowledge which gently we receive from SRILA BHAKTIVEDANTA.
